Happy New Year!!
So, we are 2 weeks into January but we are fiiinally back to work and back to blogging about all things nails!!
It's a depressing time right now, made worse by everyone taking about the January blues (I've heard the most depressing day is officially the 21st!)
But one way to help cheer yourself up is a pamper session, of course starting with your nails! Try it, it will make you happy and it's cheaper than going to a salon ;)
Even though the Christmas decs are down and the sparkly dress is back in the wardrobe I've chosen Barry M's Nude teamed also with their Rose Quartz Glitter to put some sparkle back in my life!
They have some amazing polishes out right now starting from only £2.99 so it's hard to say No! And the great thing about the glitter ones is they aren't rough or spiky to touch. (But do add a top coat to prevent them from chipping.)
Have a wonderful evening
everyone and welcome back!!

BloodSplatter.A.S.Nails
Happy happy Friday!!!! Yay!!
Today is the final Halloween nails day and to end it I have some blood splatter nails! For these I used Barry M Nude for the base and Tantrum nail art pen for the splatter. To do these i used the straw blowing method... Although I didn't have a straw so I improvised and used a pen without the ink and ends. So all you do is dip one end in the red polish and then blow through the pen/straw. I found the best splatter happened when you blow with force (there's no easy way to word that without sounding slightly rude)!
Anyway... Have a lovely weekend! Enjoy any Halloween parties you may be going to!

Blood.A.S.nails
I've used this gorgeous subtle nude colour by Barry M for the main base colour. I used around 3 coats to get a nice pinky colour. For the blood I used a nail art pen to create the drips.
These are so easy to do and perfect to match with any Halloween costume. I love these two colours together but for more of an effect you could try a black background with red drips. Or even black with lime green drips to look like slime!!
Have a great Halloween everyone!!

Houndstooth.A.S.Nails
Happy Friday readers! I hope you all have a nice weekend planned... You can tell us all about it on our twitter @cute_AS_nails as we would love to know!
For today's nails I have some lovely nude nails with a Houndstooth accent nail! The nude is by Barry M, which is very translucent so I had to do quite a few coats to make it this opaque. For the Houndstooth nail I painted it white using Models Own 'snow white' and then using their black nail art striper I painted 3 lines from finger to tip. I then used their white striper and painted lines across so the nails looked checkered. Finally I added the rest of the little line detail with the black. Once you get the hang of it then it's not as hard as it first sounds. You can always cheat and get the nail wraps (teehee)!
I hope you like these and give it a go yourselves! Have a great weekend and we will see you all next week!

Nude.A.S.nails
With this title I hope none of you get the wrong idea!! *giggles*
On the weekend I invested in a few new Barry M colours which included Nude and Black Multi Glitter. I used the two this week to create a pretty mani.
I started with a base coat and then I had to paint quite a few coats of the Nude and it is very nude and I wanted it to be slightly less opaque. Once dried i used the Black Multi Glitter to add some nice contrasting tips. I painted my ring finger all Black as I've seen a lot of this recently and it meant you could have a real look at the Black Multi Glitter.
This is easy to do and looks great! Give it ago. You can mix up the colours too!
