Easter.A.S.nails
Happy Easter!
It's officially Easter Sunday (after all that changing the clocks and losing an hour confusion!) so we can officially eat chocolate all day without it being frowned upon!
I'm away in Devon with the boyfriend, dog and my family and today we will be eating mostly, I imagine.
Later my sister and I will be hiding all the little eggs and furry chicks around the garden for the Easter Egg hunt for the kids...making sure the dog doesn't find them first! And we're having a big BBQ this afternoon.
Sophie's and my Easter nail designs sum up Easter and Spring for me. Baby chicks & bunnies, speckled eggs and pastel colours.
We've both used Barry M's great pastel shades, including their new textured effect nail polish. Sophie used their blue and pink textured effect. And used their green and yellow.
(I think the textured yellow on the chick and pink on the bunny work especially well, making them look all fuzzy and cute!)
What do you think of our Easter designs? Has anyone tried any Hot Cross Bun nail art? What sums up Easter for you?

Candyspots.A.S.nails
These are a bit 'children's T.V presenter' today but I love them - and they really didn't take as long as they look like they would.
I find spots the easiest nail art to do so experimenting with these candy colours was fun!! They remind me of sweets! And I used Barry M's great range for every colour!!
On my other hand I had to concentrate more. But because there is so much colour going on each nail it doesn't matter too much about getting that perfect sized dot each time.
Hope you enjoy this burst of crazy pastel colour and have a great evening!

Gradient.A.S.nails
These are a super easy, quick and fun way to do pastel gradient nails, that anyone can try!
Using a sponge and some white nail polish I wanted to create a sort of ocean spray/wave/speckled texture with these!
I chose my favourite five pastel Barry M colours. Blue, Peach, Lilac, Mint, and Strawberry.
And let them dry.
Next you take a clean dry sponge and literally paint it with white nail varnish.
Try not to use too much or you won't get the right texture.
Then very lightly sponge over the nail.
Leave to dry slightly.
Repeat this but only over the middle and tip of the nail.
And then again finally just on the tip so you get that fading effect.
A quick top coat for shine and they're done!
These are great because you can try so many colour variations. We would love to see your gradient colour combos!
