Pink&Gems.A.S.nails

A later post than usual today!

We have some nails that are simple enough to wear everyday, but with a bit of sparkle to remind you that its Christmas! As if you could forget :)

I bought a selection of gems online and these green ones were included. I've used Barry M's hot pink here. Then when they were almost dry I arranged my gems on my ring finger nail.
A clear top coat gives this great shine and also is essential to make sure you don't loose any of your gems!

Hope you like these simple, sparkly nails - not as festive as our other nail art recently but bright and cheerful enough to get you noticed.

Ladybirds.A.S.nails

These are so cute and so simple! I can't believe Sophie and I haven't tried them before now.
I have Shellac in Wildfire Red on my nails and I really didn't want to take it off just yet so thought about a nail art design I could do to incorporate the red I already have on my nails - and these ladybirds are what I came up with!

I used Rio nail art pens in black and white for her spots, head and eyes! Plus a top coat of Barry M to make them extra shiny and chip resistant.

These don't require too much of a steady hand so if your new to nail art, I'd definitely recommend these to try!!

Dice.A.S.nails

Yay its Friday!!!! Im very much looking forward to the weekend as the boy and I are heading home to see our families and friends. Which means a Cute.A.S. meeting! Woo.

I hope you've all had a good week this week. To end all the nail art for this week i have done some very simple but quirky Dice Nails.

These were very easy so you can all do it! I started by painting my left hand with Models Own White and my right hand with Barry M black. I waited for it to dry and then topped it off with Rimmel pro matte finish to make them beautifully matte. Instead of using nail art pens for the dots, I used a wooden kebab skewer (I know that's a bit odd) as it had a flat round end to it which was perfect to create round dots for the dice numbers. I did numbers 1 - 5 but you can mix it up and maybe not have them in a specific order. Try it!

Pacman.A.S.nails

A bit of fun fun fun today with some Pacman nails!!!!! Im pretty sure everyone has played a bit of Pacman at some point in their lives. If you haven't Im shocked and you need to go and have a go at the simple yet fun game!

If you want to recreate these i used Barry M varnish in pale yellow, blueberry, berry ice cream, flamingo and green. The little bits of black and white you see are with Models Own nail art pens - which are great to do any small detail on your nails!

Tuxedo.A.S.nails

So we took a leaf out of Zooey Deschanels book and copied her fabulous tuxedo nails! We love Zooey and her quirky style!
I've seen a few different versions of these with different jacket lapels with glitter and all that jazz however we like this simple and effective design!
