Hey hey!! This is the first of two blog post/reviews for the new, eagerly awaited Barry M Nail Art Pens!!

I first heard rumors of these pens a few months ago and felt very excited - our favorite brand, doing a nail art pen = a dream for us!
Then a couple of weeks ago a parcel full of the new summer launch Barry M goodies arrived, including these fab new nail art pens in 4 different colours! Lucky Sophie & I!!
And it can be lucky you too! These babies are out in Superdrug and on the Barry M website already. And they are also able in Boots stores tomorrow (17th April)!!
They are priced at £4.99 each and they come in Black, White, Silver & Pink.
They have a fine tip (a little like a felt tip pen) meaning they are so easy to use on the nail. On the first use just remember to pump the tip until the colour starts to flow. They dry very quickly, i had no problems with smudging or running. & with a clear top coat over the design, they last on the nail for ages! I think they're brilliant!!

You can see below what I came up with using the Pink & White pens and look out for my second post using the Silver & Black too.

This floral design is to celebrate the Spring and the sun finally peeping its head through the clouds lately!
I've named them Cath Kidston nails, mainly because we've used the name 'floral' before but also because that is where my inspiration came from. I think they are lovely and subtle but also so very easy to do! With a little help from my Barry M nail art pens of course :)

Valentine.A.S.nails

Whether you're ignoring the flowers, cards & chocolates around you, having a single girly night in or out, or showing off to the world how in love you and your partner are...St.Valentine would be proud!! And we couldn't let the day pass without giving you a pink/red/sparky/heart themed nail art day!! So here are a few...

Floral.A.S.nails

The weekend is so close...this week has gone a little too slow for my liking but today I have some bright and cheery nails!! Yey!

And these floral nails are easy peasy!!

Simply chose your base colour...I chose Barry M - Lemon.
'Blob' (technical term!) on the colour you want your flowers to be...I chose Barry M - Fushia. These blobs can be any size and shape which is what makes these so great but keep to about 3 per nail.
Next, using green, draw on your leaves. (I used Rio nail art pens in dark green).
Finally, using a contrasting colour, carefully draw the detail in your flower - I chose Kiss nail paint in Lilac.

And there you have it...

I would definitely recommend trying this simple design and we'd love to see what colours you come up with.

Mix&Match.A.S.Nails

Happy Wednesday everyone!
I hope you're all having a great week so far!

Today i have done a bit of everything. A bit of a mix and match of nails. For all of these i used Barry M, Essie, Models Own and Tantrum. Quite a few brands there! Mix and Matching is great fun and sometimes they don't even have to match. They can be as random as you like which i think is great as my colour coordination is a bit rubbish!

Nails of the Week!!

We love these and have done it ourselves! I think she used Barry M Indigo and dotting tools. We also love that she's also done spots on one and flowers on the other!

Flowers.A.S.nails

A bit of a late post this evening but better late than never hey :)

These are a bit crazy colourful! But fun, I think. We have a Sunflower, Rose, Pansy, Lily and a Poppy.
I got this idea from my friend - who has two flowers names in her name so insisted I do them on my nails.

I used Rio nail art pens in black, white, red, green, blue, yellow and green for most of this design! They really are worth purchasing, I get so much use out of them!!

Flowers.A.S.nails

I woke up to a lovely picture message from Alice..... she had done the prettiest flowery nails i had ever seen!! They made my day!

I think the colours are perfect so i wouldn't suggest anyone to do different colours. If you do then please let me know and send me a pic!
